First Jeep

Bought my first jeep a few months ago (2004 TJ). I've only owned one non-4 wheel drive vehicle since I received my license (Chevy Chevette; first car). I've owned a Geo Tracker, Toyota SR5, GMC Jimmy, Chevy S-10, and a Subaru Forester (okay, all-wheel drive). I bought the Jeep because my mom was getting rid of it (upgrading to a 4-door for the grandkids). I wasn't sure I really wanted a Jeep, but she offered it to me for the money I got out of my Forester ($2500) and for a new bathroom ($2500). Her Jeep was completely stock with only 27,000 miles, so I figured that was a pretty good deal.

Since the purchase, I have really come to like my Jeep. It is my daily driver, but I rarely ever take it on the highway (my better half's Honda Accord is for long distance travel). It's also a lot of fun to work on the Jeep (much easier than my other vehicles). Over the last four months I have added new bumpers, new rims, new tires, a 2inch RE budget boost, a light bar (no lights yet), an OME steering stabilizer, and a Rough Country steering skid plate. My next purchases will be some rocker panels with steps (so the better half can get in; she's short), ACOS for the front (I wish I would have bought this and OME shocks instead of my RE lift; live and learn), and 6 inch Warn wireless fog lights. I can't wait until summer vacation so that I can hit the trails!

Anyways, I figured I'd sign up for the forum since I'm always looking at all your posts for ideas!
