Newb, but I have had my Wrangler for 13 years

My 1998 Jeep Wrangler and I have been through thick and thin together. I bought her used with 1700 miles on her, today she's closing in on 200,000 miles. We've been to Alaska and Florida together, and a lot of states in between. She helped me through mud and snow. I was even pressed into service once by the National Park Service once to help stranded motorists in Yosemite. A Jeep, in 4WD, with chains on all 4 tires is a beast in the snow.

But, now she's getting on in years. Things are breaking on her. So, I'm trying to learn more about repairing her myself. She carried me for so long, now it's time for me to start repaying the favor.
