I wish mine came with a stronger roll bar instead of a sport cage.
V-8 or diesel power would be a nice option with a 5000 + # jku.

I have dual climate control in mine, came stock with it and works really good.

|bearman95||I don't really see the need for the items you listed other than the grap handles and my jeep came stock with those.|

On JKU the rear seats should recline more and the center seat should have brackets underneath to prevent sag.
Shorty antenna should be standard with FM/AM booster.

3.73s! 3.73s! 3.73s!
Ban the 3.21s!
(From an angry "What do you mean I can't put 35s on this without making it drive like a tank" 3.21 JK owner.)
I can't believe no one has mentioned this: seats that work! You know, seats that actually slide forward, and back into position! While keeping the angle of the seat the same.... You know, the modern kind like the ones that came on my 2002 Ranger.
Or how about a rear seat that actually makes sense? Why does it still fold, and sling right back, exactly like it did on my 1998 TJ? They make seats that fold into 20 positions now- and the JK seat won't even lock?
Oh, and "Oh S**t handles".
How about a "standard" option for bedliner vs. dirt & hair velcro? I mean low pile carpet. Been confirmed you can, in fact, omit the carpet on a 2013- but no bedliner option.

Options that would be nice from the factory, that I would pay for:
1) Locking fuel door with interior release
2) interior hood release/lock
3) an automatic rag top for the JKU that you don't have to take the windows out
4) motion sensor security option for when the tops are off or down
5) something that holds the rear cargo door open for loading & unloading besides the car washing brush I use now.

|Hoytgirl07||IMHO I would like to see them go ahead and put bedliner in. I want to take my carpet out but dont want the bare floor without any protection. Just bought a house and no extra cash for the bedliner to be sprayed in.|

|thomslife||It took me a couple of months of ownership to realize there was no ventilation to the back of my 2011 JK 4-door. In the winter it is hard to keep the inside at a even temp. That and the weak engine are my only complaints.|

locking nut for spare tire (I like the look without a cover which seems like an easy grab for a thief)

|Ballandchain||I think they should have added something to keep the vertical part of your seatbelt from flapping against the plastic piece on the side when the top is down. Drives me nuts!!!!! I had a buddy make me up a 2" x 5" piece of black nylon and put 2 snaps on it and hooked it to that plastic piece to keep the seatbelt from flapping.....|

|daggo66||It appears that none of you have driven topless in the rain. Otherwise the most glaring thing that has always been missing on Jeeps would have been one of the first things on the list. Inside windshield wipers! An inside wash system for those wipers would also be good for dusty trails.|

I think it shold have come with grab handles mounted to the A-pillars like my old Liberty had. Especially for a vehicle that has such high clearance. Climbing in can be a pain.
Agree that a grille guard should be standard, sill guards too. Although I did add both (just added by drake grill inserts yesterday matter of fact).
The lack of a fuel door I don't mind. That seems like one of those "jeep things" that has become almost iconic over the years. I thought about putting a door on it but the open look has sort of grown on me
