Rubicon06Va If possible, tell them you will pay the difference for after market front bumper or get cash. Then you replace bumper. I sold my 06' TJ front bumper for $20 and it was in great shape. Did you know a front bumper only weight 20 lbs and not much to it.

NHrubicon I believe you have the RIGHT to insist on OEM parts if insurance company is handling it. They have to 'make it as good as it was' after a collision.
Don't accept substitutes until you call your insurance company.

Replace Stock Bumper

I was in an accident a few weeks ago (not my fault) and new to replace the front bumper (stock). The guy at the collision repair says they are going to replace it with three different (separate) parts. J want an OEM but they are saying it is cheaper to use separates. Do OEM come in separates?
