Mr.Ouija Does anyone know about the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge? A buddy of mine tells me that he remembers a time he was out there with his family and saw a sign that read "only 4wheel drive vehicles beyond this point". He said it looked like pretty rough terrain.

Mr.Ouija Yea. Your right. I'm here right now. No way to get in. It's fenced all the way down to the river. Man this sucks.

Thanks man. Found that spot a couple weeks ago. It was pretty fun. Wish that spot was a little longer but it's not a bad place to have some fun. Drove by there yesterday and it looks pretty nasty with all the rain that we've been getting.

Mr.Ouija Yea. I few of my cousins have been out there as well. I hear its awesome. Too bad things have got so out of hand with the cartels down south.

danieldlg_13 I drove down to Mexico close to Monterrey in the mountains and had a blast going thru some of those trails... but that was years ago.

Mr.Ouija I hear ya. I couldn't see myself making that drive either. I know most people here in the Valley like taking their Jeeps out to the Island and driving up till they hit the "Break" up around Port Mansfield. I was hoping to find something a little more challenging to test both my Jeep and my driving skills out a bit more.

danieldlg_13 I go down the the Valley from time to time. My grandparents live there and my GF still has her family there. We were there last weekend and will probably be there the next two weekends. Unfortunately I don't drive my Jeep down there. I did a couple of times but it wasn't a pleasant drive.

Any Trails in the R.G.V?

Whats up guys? I was wanting to ask if anyone here knows of any trails or all around good spots to go wheelin' down in Deep South Texas? I'm about 2.5 hours south of Corpus and about 25 miles NW of South Padre Island. Thanks.
