X-Truck-Owner Sorry, something came up on Saturday, going to have to postpone myself for another weekend. Hope you all have fun, post some pictures if you do end up going.

ninersgal anytime is fine with me. If we meet in belfair there is a Mcdonalds on the main road just past the turn for tahuya...If we meet at tahuya there is a staging area to the right of the entrance and a camping like area further to the right but there are always lots of 4x4 atv clubs in the camping area..there are bathrooms there as well.

X-Truck-Owner How would 10-1030 work? It's about a 1 hour drive over there for me, and I need to get my beauty sleep and grub on in the morning, so I can't make it too early. There is a 4x4 club that meets there every first Saturday of the month so if we are to meet up and get together we will need a different spot to meet up possibly? Any suggestions as to a meeting spot? I am not familiar with that area so any place that is recognizeable will work for me.

A couple weeks ago Tahuya had mud and water to the doors. Had the daughter screaming a couple times. Have Fun. I am gonna go up on Sunday so report back on the conditions!

10-24-2011 06:49 PM
JK Kid I'm out in Bremerton, mostly hit up tehuya but there's nothing too challenging there for the decently built up wrangler

doublenasty you guys should come join this other forum i have its called and look for the northwest section and join the group and i can stay in contact with you all and we can get together and go jeepin and my jeep is also a DD so i do some trails that are alittle difficult but you can pass if you dont want to do the trail!!!
10-22-2011 02:31 PM
hitman76 I think evans creek is about the only thing thats close to Puyallup. I just moved from Lewis to Spanaway. 3 weeks ago we went to Evans creek. We hit about all the trails. Most of them you can handle on a stock jeep. Now would be the time to go before the snow starts.

anyone still interested in Puyallup area

I am new here and would like to find a trail to ride near Puyallup. My wife and I used to have 4wd quads and always went to Elbe Hills, but I am not sure if a stock Wrangler is the best idea up there. We have sore backs and broken quads from going there. Any other places that we can get dirty but not broken? I want to hit some mud and rough country, but still be able to drive my Jeep to work on Monday morning.

doublenasty i live in puyallup and i work on ft lewis. you have evans creek which is close and you have elbe which is alittle further away you also have tahuya forest across the bridge on the peninsula and there are a few places up north that i have heard about but no one that i talk to and wheel with really go up there they say it like tahuya just with more mud. check out nwjeepers website or google wa jeep clubs and some of the clubs will have maps and directions to all the places in wa and then you can see how close or far the trails are.

stay in contact with me and when i get back from afgan i will hook up with whoever wants to go wheeling i can show you places and take you up some narly trails.

hitman76 im just south of Tacoma. Live on base at Ft Lewis. Not sure of any trails really close by. Still new here and want to find some.
