Garmin / Nuvi question

Jeep People!

I'm looking at buying a Garmin Nuvi... right now I'm looking at the 2460LMT.

What I can't tell is whether the normal system includes things like fire roads and national forest roads.

I see they sell Topo maps separately (for more than half the cost of the unit).. do I have to buy one of those as well? And do the Topo maps show all the roads and trails, or just purely the topo info and your coordinates?

Any info would be appreciated.
