You did an awesome job trimming the fender!!!
Skids look good too! Paint never drys fast enough when you want to install some new toys. LOL

|DrHolliday||Just rustoleum enamel paint. It was very cold when we sprayed the plates so the spayer kind of shot the paint out in tiny round balls. It looks textured but its very smooth to the touch. Also they aren't fully cured, dry enough to handle, but the paint is still soft. Once it has a little more time on it the paint should harden a lot more.|

You can buy door edge trim to put around the edge of the fenders. i didn't do that b/c the edge of mine came out really nice.

Those bad boys look stout. And the red is awesome.
Skids are on my Spring list. I'm gonna have to look into the RR's.

Dude-those flares look great IMO.
I've seen people trim them out. Not sure how or what they use.

And the skids are installed on my 2 door. Going to do the 4 door next week. Doing this on your back in the drive can really wear you out!
I will say RR's directions leave something to be desired, but once you get everything laid out its not too bad to figure out. The biggest pain is getting the nuts onto the back side of 2 of the transmission skid bolts and 2 of the Tcase skid bolts, 3 of them are in the transmission cross member and one is in the frame rail. Just no way to get a wrench on them.
After the install you can feel the engine vibrations at idle a lot more, this is due to the engine skid having a very dense rubber bussing between in at the trans skid that is bolted to the frame.
Had to pose the Jeep to be able to get decent pics under it

2 New Mods
I broke a fender a couple weeks ago and was sick of it just hanging on by the front fender liner so I decided to chop my fenders. I'm not a huge fan of the look, but it turned out better then I had hoped. I'll be replacing them with the Wide ACE flat flares soon. I'll spray the wheel wells with rattle can bed liner spray once the weather cooperates a little.
And another forum member and I just got our River Raider skids plates delivered this week. We painted them up yesterday and plan to install either Saturday or Sunday. The cold weather is making the Rustoleum enamel paints take a bit longer to dry.
The RR skids are VERY beefy, not doubt they can take a beating. I was also surprised that the evap skid is actually bigger then heavier than the engine oil pan skid.
Saved almost half the shipping costs by having them delivered to one address instead of 2 different addresses. Thank Jason @ KOR.
Evap skid and engine skid in this pic
2 door and 4 door Gas tank skid
Hung up and ready for paint
Painted Safety Red so if I roll over people can still see me
