if your jeep isn´t new try to loosen the bolts with an impact wrench.

in the summer I live in a small town with one hardware store and it took me almost a week to find a T55 haha...had to ask the fire dept

|distortedtj||if i remember right they are a T55. And if you want to do anything to your jeep i suguest you get a set of torx bits. About 2/3rds of the jeep is put together with Torx bits. You can pick them up at just about anywhere that sales tools. they aren't a "special" tool but arn't used as commonly in vehicles as they did in the past.|

front tow hook help
i got 2 front tow hooks, a rear tow hook and a tow strap in the mial from
4wd.com. the rear tow hook installed in less the 5 minutes but the front tow hooks are giving me trouble. iv been thru every allen wrench, standerd and metric and nothing fits. what takes off those 4 bolts? im begining to think it might be some special jeep tool or something? or im just overlooking the obvious...
