goldsmith Jason, the same thing happened to me.Disconnect your fuel line to your fuel pump, place some masking tape over the ends of the two lines that were going to the sending unit, blast air thru the line that connected to your pump, the tape will blow of off the sender line,or crawl under jeep and start following the lines.
As far as assembly, take your time, check and double check, also follow this forum, there is some amazing guy's with great knowledge. Good Luck.

And the newb with questions...

I pulled my fuel tank out, because it was puking fuel when the system was under pressure. And I didn't label the lines when I pulled them off of the sending unit. Anyone know the arrangement of the send and return lines offhand?

Also, can anyone give me some good stickys? I'm just getting going on the old stock YJ I've had since 2004, and I'm looking for good advice on putting Jeeps back together, piece by piece.

And any thoughts would be much appreciated, thanks!

V/R,

Jason
