Thanks for all the information guys It seems like a lot of work, time, and money needs to be put into it. Right now it looks like it won't be done anytime in the near future. Im gonna do a little more research...might possibly be up for sale, if im not up for the project.

JK axles are stout but unless you fully understand what goes into the swap, you may want to reconsider. You'll have to fully redo your steering linkage and track bar mounts and build a track bar. You'll obviously have to cut the mounts off and weld new ones on....that's a no brainer. The JK arms are out wider than TJ arms and are oriented a bit differently. The axles are about 5" wider so you'll need to either run spacers in the rear or go with a matching JK rear 44. The housings are weak but can be easily beefed up with some inner sleeves and C gussets.....do that and I'd trust a JK30 on 37's.
Otherwise, if you're not gonna use it, I'll take it.

|TheTJRod||Realize that if you got a HPD44 from the JK rubicon there is nothing better you could put in your jeep other than a HPD60. I would pick the JK front d44 before a f250 hpd44.|

|TheTJRod||The hpd30 for the JK is definetly not worth it. The brackets are different, it wider and more prone to bending, and different bolt pattern. Get an XJ HPD30 that will bolt straight on and use any tj d30 part you have.|

New brackets would need to be welded into the correct locations.
The JK axles are wider then TJ axles so the mounting brackets are not in the same location.

HP D30 from a JK?
I was able to get my hands on a HP D30 from a JK for FREE! Everything from the axle is able to be salvaged except the axle tubes.
I was just wondering if anybody knew whether or not i would be able to swap this axle into my TJ, and what i would need to do the swap....i know i would need new axle tubes, and brackets to account for spring perches, shocks, etc.
Any insight on this subject would be great.
