RubiCobra Could easily be the clutch, I have a TOB sleeve going bad used to click, then squeal.

QADaemon Are you sure it's not the clutch safety (interlock) switch? Mine has clicked every time for a few years without hassle.

RubiCobra Normal? No. Does it click when the tranny is in/out of gear? Both? Driving? Parked? How's your transmission fluid look?

Question about my clutch/tranny

So, I've had my TJ for about 6 months now (06 X with a 6 sp MT) and every time I engage and disengage the clutch, I hear a click from the tranny. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance

Pete
