Celtic I have used A-1 Auto Transport "Enclosed Service" on a couple of occasions. I found them to give customer service and communication that was beyond expectations. And, most importantly, our vehicles were delivered in better condition than when they were loaded.

Here is their website:

Beastmaster Sorry,

My only vehicle shipping experiance was from England to California. I shipped my MG Midget back to the states when my Air Force tour was up in 1979.

Don't think this is what you were looking for but just wanted to post some worthless information.

My post should help keep your thread alive though.

Good luck on your search for knowledge.

Having a Jeep shipped?

Well it's getting near time to bring baby home at last. Now my question is does anyone have good or bad experiences have a vehicle shipped. I need to have my new to me 79 CJ7 shipped from Colorado. There's no time constraint. So I can work with the shippers schedule so they can haul a full load. If someone knows a jeep friendly shipper that would be good also. I am thinking of having it done at least by the end of May. Thanks, John (in New York!)
