nickmimi It is a Sierra 4x4 trailer. The poster above is correct. The owner does not know how to communicate. We ordered in April with a delivery date of 8-12 weeks. We did not take delivery until 2 weeks ago. As far as I know, he has not delivered a trailer or taken anybody's money but he is very slow on delivering. If you are interested in buying one, don't plan on having it for at least a year and you will be happy or buy one that is already built.

Sierra 4×4 Trailers – Jeep & Off Road Trailers – Roof Top Tents and Overland Equipment

You may want to read up on them, there were quite a few threads on Expo about them taking money and cutting communications and not delivering the trailer. Although, the people that do have the trailers say they are of great quality, I think he just has bad customer service. Maybe he has gotten that taken care of though

You are absolutely right. I noticed that after hooking it up. Thanks

Cons_Table My trailer...which has earned the title of "Taj Mahal" from fellow WF members. I didn't build it...and I don't offroad it...but it does get hauled with the jeep.

pcwolf Here's my effort. Bantam seen hard miles and a buncha mods before I got my hands on it. Cut a sheet of plywood in three pieces to fit the bevel and still access storage underneath, got all my kit out of the back of the heep and sleep pretty snug too with a memory foam pad. With the pintle it follows me anywhere and I gotta check to see if it's still behind. Got all of $750 in it.

sduncan Dad and I built this a couple of years ago. We did a very stout frame and has multiple options for the hitch. Added steel wheels, 33 10.50x15 BFGs, and a 3500lb 5x4.5 axle. So far nothig has hardly scratched it.

We are planning out another that will be set up to carry water, propane, fuel, and spare parts along with some storage for permanent camping gear. Still working out the details on it..

TJDave Jeep trailer. It even says Jeep on it!

My old basic utility trailer. Not off road worthy.

Jerry Bransford I just realized after coming back into this thread you guys were talking about posting pics of REAL offroad-oriented Jeep trailers. I'm now embarassed after posting pics of my namby-pamby Coleman pop-up trailer with its skinny tires.

SGTRock M101CDN beefed up version of the M100 and M416 1/2ton Jeep trailors. There were @2,000 made in the 90's for the Canadian military and than Canada sold them all surplus. Was designed to be pulled by an Iltis 4x4. Has standard military tail lights. It is a great Jeep tailer. I replaced the Michilan military tires with Cooper non directional tires made from the original Firstone molds from WWII. Older picture of my trailer and Jeep:

Thanks! What a GREAT Jeep! If I had a garage, I'd want one sitting next to my JK!! Awesome!!

This one was built from the back half of an LJ and a YJ.

Most of the original side panels and inner fenders were removed, and replaced with new sheet metal, only the top edge of the original tubs was retained. The new inner fenders provided far more interior space than the huge Wrangler inner fenders. The red parts are from the LJ, the black parts from the YJ, the unpainted metal is new.

That does sound cool! Perhaps remove the windshield and frame, run half doors, and mount the hood to open forward, clam shell style. That could potentially have a lot of storage space, or perhaps a fold out tent where you would sleep in the "tub" part of the body. I think I'd like to see somebody actually do that!!

Rubicondon53 Modified mine from a light utility trailer with a 1 ton axle. I couldn't live without the pintle hook, and being able to screw the lunette ring out is certainly a nice theft deterrent.. Using the trailer to pack all our camping gear, along with 21 gallons of water, we are able to stay out for 4 to 5 days at a time.. There is also a very near complete galley on the rear deck. We've just recently upgraded our rubber so now we have 255/85/16s on all 7 wheels. When not used for our excursions the trailer is used as a utility trailer.
