Might be further ahead to use that dremel to carve a little tranny linkage extension or something. I dislike body lifts

kjeeper10 Body lifts were more popular on the Tj. Inexpensive way to fit bigger tires.
The Jk has more clearance and will fit a 33 stock. No need for it

ESP You've got two of the best answers here. Body lifts are never a good idea.

Jeff_ Based on a write up on Project-JK, you have to trim the inner shift boot or else you will have difficulty shifting into 2-4-6 and reverse.

Problem shifting after installing 2.5" Coil lift kit & 1" Body Lift.

So I got my 2.5" Coil lift & 1" Body Lift Installed on my 2012 2DR.

I had to remove the center console in order to shift into the bottom gears. (2nd, 4th, 6th and Reverse)

I have to use a bit of force to get those gears in.

I would prefer not to modify the console, Is there another way?

Just curious if anyone else ran into this problem and have found a solution.

Thanks!
