1BLKJP No it is not a direct bolt in. First and foremost the input spline counts are different than for the jeep trannies. Second there are both driver and passenger side drop 241's that chevy and GM used.

Jerry Bransford They're normally different between different brands, like the Jeep's NP241 will actually be a NP241J standing for Jeep. It's usually different with the spline counts, though clocking can also vary.

hey are all NP241 TCs the same? there is one in my area off of a chevy for $50. so im hoping it will be a direct bolt on...so is it??
