find a drive shaft shop, i just had both mine done, they both needed the cv replaced, one needed a whole new slip shaft all new u joints and balanced, for under 500. for what you need i would guess around 200...and then you know its done right...the place i went even painted them, they looked brand new when i got them back....

rda616 Go to a you pull it type junk yard and get one. It will cost you about $50.00 .

rabbithuntr yeah the shaft is already out, was gonna fix the cv joint but it was messed up beyond just replacing with the kit from the parts store. i just dont wanna pay the 5 to 8 hundred bucks for most i see. but i also dont wanna buy one that breaks again in a few weeks or months.

DevilDogDoc You can do what you want but you know what happens when that front shaft locks up at 55 mph right? Bumpers are a want not a need, as is a lift. A drivetrain is needed....

should i take the chance

still lookin for a front drive shaft and found an oem used one on ebay for $125...should i take the chance on it??? the jeep funds im saving now are for rear bumper with tire carrier and susp lift, id rather not spend a lot on driveshaft. what would u do???
