|12-14-2013 01:47 PM|
|DanC||So far mine is still stock but it's only 10 days old. Did order a set of GraBars for it to help the wife getting in and out. Traded her caddy for it and she says she wants to keep it just the way it is. Maybe someday.|

|HvyD63||My '13 JK is still stock. Saving for my first mods: Rugged Ridge slimline step rails, gas hatch cover, hitch, slush mats, mud flaps, and grill guard (havent decided which type or brand this yet). Couldnt spend $$ on mods when we had xmas gifts to buy. After that, lift and taller tires. I like the stock 17" wheels, but may switch those out too.|

|kromar||My 08 Rubicon is still stock. Would love to put a lift on it but won't fit in my garage! I wonder if I could raise my garage ?|

|LemonLite||As panthermark stated, still need to define "mod"...I think it's possible for someone to buy a Jeep with no intent to "mod" it, but if accessorizing is considered to be part of a mod (no matter how big or small the mod may be), I think it's impossible. If I had every intent to keep my Jeep stock, I know the headlights would eventually be replaced, along with the carpet floor mats. Therefor eliminating someone from the zero mod club.|

|luckeydoug1||We picked up my wife's special order Polar Unlimited on Wednesday. Three mods are on order: locking hood, locking lug nuts and a rear tire cover. The only other mod I see coming is the locking rear floor cover and locking gas cap. She ordered the vehicle just as she wanted it (auto trans, remote start, 430N, auto AC, side air bags and Trailer Tow) so I don't expect much else to be changed on the vehicle.|

|mdecew||Call me the voice of reason (or not)…..take your time. wheel it around. read this forum peruse your Qtec catalog. DOnt jump too quick on anything. make sure it fits into a long term plan. every mod had consequences…..some require more money…..some you have to take off later to do something else. consider hard where you go and what you do…….save up…..then drink the kool aid and do some stuff…..any stuff…..thats part of the hobby…..part of the fun…part of calling yourself a "Jeeper"…..|

|Annhl8rX||I initially thought I met the criteria, as I've only had my Jeep a couple of weeks. Then I remembered I out in a K&N filter. I don't really consider it a mod, but. I guess it technically is. I'll get wheels, tires, and a slight lift as soon as my motorcycle sells.|

Picked up my new 2013 on Monday....two days and 524 miles later, still thinking about accessories. My base Sport has steel 16" wheels and small tires. Friday, I'll put on the aluminum 17" wheels and Goodyear SR/A's. (I don't really consider them mods, but they sure aren't accessories).
I'd like some small side steps (like the ones that fit the TJ), but I haven't found any yet. Don't care for tubular side steps, as they won't last 2 years up here due to the pure salt on winter roads.
Stock fog lights are pretty lame, so new ones will be on the list.
That's probably it, as it's mostly a street machine.

|Ricanbandit||Got mine last Saturday - First "mod" were the wheel locks. Ordered 13 inch antenna now looking for some mean looking wheels that can use the OEM tires and then I will definitely upgrade the speakers and add a sub. First jeep for me and it is a lease since I didn't know if I was going to like it or not. Damn so much for that! the wifey is already cringing as I have a serious mod addiction that started with my Z4M. So here we go, like this place tons of info available!|

Still need to define "mod".
Modify and accessorize are not the same thing.

|Scargosun||Bought '13 JKU Sahara in late June and still stock but putting my list together. Since the plastic corner bumper got pushed in (pushed back out with screwdriver and hairdryer) within 2 weeks of getting it, new bumper killer bumpers are 1st on the list. I don't really consider my locking gas cap a mod.|

|iflyhi22002||Bought my 13 Sahara Unlimited almost 2 weeks ago, 710 miles on it and all stock still. Getting the front 2 windows tinted tomorrow to match the rest, and besides that the other mods will have to wait. I will be buying a lock for the spare tire soon..just too tempting for some people. We have a baby coming around Oct.2nd..so the lift, tires, etc..will have to wait for a bit, but I'm ok with that as I finally have my Jeep|

I've only had mine 5 days so I'm in the same boat. My husband has planned about 36million mods but as I keep reminded him I get final say on anything.
I want to:
Swap the springs with a Rubicon or something to get a slight lift
Bigger wheels and powder coat them white
Bigger more aggressive tires
I'm sure I'm missing something. Any suggestions?

|zerinS4||2700 miles on my 10A Rubi and no mods aside from a shade to keep my head from roasting. Also no real intent of doing any mods until I find a reason the stock stuff isn't good enough.|
|08-08-2013 09:03 AM|
I guess you can count my rubber duckie sticker as a mod... but other than that, I'm stock. Nearing a year and 15000 miles of ownership, too.
I'd like to buy a few things - rock rails (like Ace that can serve as steps), a security deck (want to figure measurements), a performance leveling kit (get rid of the rake, 1 in all around), soft top boot (though who am I kidding, I just use the sunrider position), mesh shade (trying to figure out if the 2dr size fits on the 4dr). Everything is just too expensive, and I'd rather not throw it on credit card or deny myself other things.
It'll probably be stock for a while, maybe not modded at all besides aesthetic things.

I bought a '13 JKU Rubicon on Tuesday, take delivery tomorrow. One reason I bought the Rubi was my perception that it has already been modded to a significant degree. This will be my DD, but also used for hunting, camping, mild off-roading, and even the occasional long distance road-trip, so no plans to lift, do bigger tires/wheels, or suspension upgrades. The Rubi is likely more than I'll ever need. I do like the idea of heavier duty bumpers, some sort of brush-guard, locking gas cap, tail-light guards, and I'll also add a tow-hitch at some point.
Mostly I'm thinking I'll just drive it, enjoy it, and check out threads on this forum and just generally look at other Jeeps, get ideas here and there, and make little tweaks occasionally. It's about the journey, not the destination......

|Cdwright||I have upgraded headlamps to better halogens and that is all.|
|08-08-2013 06:27 AM|
Mine was stock for about 48 hrs after driving her off the lot. So far the mods I've added:
Steering wheel cover (it did come with nice rubber fl mats though)
Gas cap cover
Rear tail light covers
My next two mods are going to be a stinger front bumper and matching rear bumper, and a roof rack. Mine is also mainly a city driver so I don't think I'll add suspention mods or even a lift. However, I do want to get her out trailing soon, just not on anything that would snap an axle.

Bought in Nov 2010. no mods at all
But have added a few accessories....Alpine stero, JL sound system, 5 channel amp, replaced the front bumper, added some ACE rails to protect from mall zombie's with BMW's Oh and had to install AEV pintlers...need tires

|AKgirGP||I've had mine since March. Only plans I have are a 2" lift, more aggressive tires, and an Auto Start for the subzero temps in the winter.|
