hellkatshockey Cool thank you for the info are black steel rims ok to go with or would they rust out fairly quick. Not looking to put to much money into the rims with tires being so darn $$$

Exactly 15x8 rims are your best bet but you can go 15x7 if you have to

hellkatshockey Thanks and yea my stock rims are crappy looking. The clear coat has came off in several spots and the have oxidized. Thought they would make great "winter" rims if needed.

Jonny15 Nothing special required, just buy a set of 31x10.5's and get them mounted.

Lots of opinions on tires out there but my vote for a good at tire would be either bfgoodrich at's or goodyear duratracs. Cant go wrong with either one.

As far as new wheels...again there are many opinions here, and a ton of choices. You could always buy a cheap set of black steel wheels but, in my opinion, i think this look is WAY overdone on jeeps...look at 5 jeeps and 3 of them probably have a set of cragar soft 8's.

Personally i'd stick with stock wheels unless they're really beat up and crappy looking. If you do buy new wheels i'd stick with 15" wheels cause tire prices are much higher when you get into the 16 or 17 inch size.

Wheels and tires

I'm wanting to get a set of new tires for sure and possible a new set of rims. I have no idea where to start. I have stock 15" rims and 30" tires right now and I'm thinking I will stay with the 15s but would like to go to 31s for a little more size and width. It's a DD so a good A/T tire will do. No lift kit. Is there anything special im gunna have to do. Where should I start my search thanks
