Good_ole_yj I did my shackle lift in about 45 mins. It was my first time doing this. Very simple. The rear bolts are a pain. Mine rides better. Seems to be softer

Abner Ravenwood Yes what Mopar said plus I cut the factory top bolts and replaced them. Just so much easier. They can be a pain.

MoparMuscleFreak When you get the rear frame shackle bolts out most of the time the gas tank will be in the way I dropped the fuel tank just enough to get the bolts out but when I installed them I put it so the head of the bolts face outwards so if you ever have to get them out again they are nice and accessible... I believe the factory doesn't put it that way so if there is an accident they don't puncture the fuel tank but I'm not too worried about it...also when the jeep is raised I used the factory jack between the leaf and the axle to make enough clearance to put the extended shackles in worked beautifully also helps of you remove the shock bolts so you can drop the axle more

1BadAssJeep Start spraying all the bolts down with pb blaster. You may need a grinder with a cutting blade. The back bolts may be hard to get out do to the gas tank. Maybe some replacement bolts.
