not arguing shoulds and should nots, fact is people do stupid things with high center of gravity vehicles then sue others. The lawyers do what they can to limit that and bill as much as they can.

It is not a requirement to keep the stickers, just like you can cut off the tags from your mattress, but when you do, you remove a bit of your heirs' ability to sue over your untimely death, be it due to a vehicle flaw or your own stupidity.

jaxs1984 I guess I'm lucky I have an 09 and the first mod I did was rip the stickers off. Like everyone said they were REALLY easy back then.

metaldemon I just took the visors off, and painted them with plastic paint. Flat black for over a year now. Problem solved.

by the way i knew someone who ran a business making power sports equipment and got essentially sued out of business over a lack of stickers. Very sad that people are stupid.

Also why do volvo semis, with drivers side airbags only, have warnings not to put car seats in the DRIVERS SEAT because of the air bag, and that kids should ride in the back seat when there is no back seat at all? WTF.

JKASS I didn't read the whole thread, so someone may have already said this. On my 07' I just swapped the driver and passenger side visors. That put the stickers on the top when up.

First of all, there are adhesives you can buy to re-attach these. They're still in good condition arent they?

Second, did you contact the maker?

And finally, I don't think you applied them right in the first place. Seen this happen many times. Hell, i drive a truck and one of our drivers at my company had the company's name fall off the truck. LOL.

michiganadam Problem is the visor decals are distracting. These are distracting as well. Atleast they have less words to read.

Why would jeep intentionally prevent owners from removing a sticker from their car? Hell, i peeled off the X package pictures from my jeep.

Oh well, on my hyundai the warnings are sewn onto the visor fabric. Atleast they didnt try that one on us.

Sorry it took this long to reply, but to answer your question...the "Hair" decal is custom. They may have kept the design on file if you ask them.

Stickers are fused on, not affixed with adhesive, for the last few model years. I don't think anyone has been able to do more than damage their visors with the heat-and-peel method.

chasman if you just want to cover them up with a color just head down/up to your local sign shop. Take measurements and they will cut you a piece of black vinyl the same as on ebay. Or just slice a piece off and give it to you. simple to apply.

BadOleRoss Just saw these on Ebay.

Mine have been on since I started this thread a year-and-a-half ago. They've sat in parking lots under many scorching NC summer days, and have never shown any sign of peeling off.
