|Gkbassn4||I have the same jeep as you and my reat differential needs to be changed too. I think it had to be 75w (weight). But it depends on your climate location. Go into a parts house and just ask them what yoi should get, make sure they seem competent lol.|

New to the Jeep thing, but my wife has a 03 Nissan Altima with the 3.5 engine that has over 200,000 miles on it.. Been using Lucas in hers for about the Last 60,000 miles with regular Penzoil... I have notice it quites the car down a little bit and the MPG went up about 2-3 tenths a gallon..
Just bought a 97 TJ 4 banger with a 132,000... Oil was just change, but I plan on using Lucas when its time for a change.. Also want to change the differentials and Tranny (Auto).. Any ideas on what is the best fluids for my combo..

|dcstewart||I have used it. From what I understand it is almost all kerosene. Light pale oil is the code name for kerosene.|

|tentay||I put Lucas in every oil change, diff change and tcase. Kept my 94 ZJ going and smoother for alot longer than I expected until I get a rebuild. I figure it can't hurt, and even if a bottle only gets me another 1k miles its worth it.|

Anyone use this?
Anyone here recommend "Marvel mystery oil" or "Lucas oil" to help keep your jeep lubricated to prevent cracking/dry rotting lines, hoses, etc? Had a friend recommend I pick some up and add it to most of my fluids, said its an old trick of the trade to keep life in the ride. Your thoughts?
