Tinted the turn signals today. Turned out a little darker than I was going for but I don't mind them.
Maximus 3 X Hoop was done last week and side marker lights the week before. She's coming along nicely.

Got it dirty and wet, on a great trail at Pine Barrens. Thanks to JEEPALICIOUS for the tips on where to go.
Capt'n Jack really impressed me, it's my first Jeep and I don't have any modifications and it handled sand, muddy sand, and small water pits. I am so thrilled to have joined this world of off-roading! What a champ this baby is! (2014 Sport). I took everything slow and steady, it handled like a dream. (P.s. Please forgive the Jeep hair in that pic, ha!)

Today I built a shelf for the rear storage area of my JKU. Now anyone looking in the windows can't see what's beneath. I also mounted my Hi-Lift to the underside of the shelf so it is completely out of the way. I am also planning to mount my shovel & ax on the underside of the shelf.

My way to new tires is Rubicon takeoffs and swapping my current tires to my wife's suburban instead of buying her new tires.

How did you do the holes for the lug nuts? I'm ready to do my rims and I'm wondering what precautions I need to take when putting the lug nuts back on so I don't tear the plastidip.

|Reagan_JKU||I plasti dipped my rims an emblems, because I'm just a poor college kid who can't afford to buy rims.. Also put the kc's in about a week ago. On top of that restored the fenders with some Meguiars.|

Today we put in my "oh shit" handles and I got them thru my friend Mark here in Phoenix. The look amazing

Today I'll finish running 2 wires from each taillight to under the dash. (used 14 gauge). Got a real good lesson in how to remove most of the trim on both sides inside that cover the wires routed from rear to front.
Figured I'd rather run wire now...than in the winter when I can finally afford an sPOD.
The wires will be for future rear lights.
Looking at the sPOD install videos, I'm planning out all my wiring so that I wont need to keep going back and running/zip tying a bunch of lines. (like when I pull the sPOD wiring harness through the firewall....pulling any other lines I might need at the same time. I'm hard wiring my Valentine One, plus a hot for SPOT Trace supplemental power...and maybe an interior light..inside lighting sucks)

|That Jeep Guy||
Technically, not today but this week.
Happened to notice it was about to roll to this number so I took my foot off the gas pedal and grabbed the phone to get a shot - not a recommended photography nor driving method and it still came out shaky and with reflection from the plastic.
Maybe next week I will attempt to get a shot of the fuel gauge needle pointing to F while traveling at this same speed.
No, who am I kidding, that'll never happen.

P.S. lubing the line up with soapy water also helps a little I think.....but dont be fooled by that zip tie they give you, its a joke!

Everything I read said 1 wire method only works with parking lights and/or headlights on. The two wire method works even with lights off.

Took a trip down to SD with the doors off along with stopping by cars and coffee along the way... I saw about 5 or 6 cops that day... They didn't seem to mind.. 2 of those were even casing me..
anyway, glad I found them...
Harbor freight clearance rack $1.97 ea, a little 90 spray and some velcro.. They worked great and no bouncing or movement by the wind.. Just spreading the word...
