re-gear to 4.56, not 4.88

[TheYJGuy] If you can, stick with the manual trans, but I'm assuming you want an auto because the surgery was on your right shoulder.

You're gonna need to re-gear a Dana35 to at least 4.88 to hold up to 35s. maybe even an axle upgrade to a Dana44 or an Exploder 8.8

houseofpain11 dont get me wrong--im not doing a motor swap! i'll buy another and sell this one if need be. i bought it bout 3months ago. i just had shoulder sergury 10days ago and have done a lil re-evaluating. i bought a throttle body spacer that i havnt put on yet. i think i want 35's and gonna need a bunch more power. im gonna cruse it with the top off and a (for sale )sign in it. if she sells i'll buy a 6cyl. auto. if she dont --i love er just like she is!

97blacktjblake hey i have that same situation i want to put in the 4.0 inside of my 97 tj that has the 2.5 does anyone have a 4.0 in pa that would wana sell it? thanks

new here and just bought a jeep

a friend sent me a link so here i am. just bought a 93 wrangler. 2.5l 5 speed, 4" rough country springs and 2" body kit,love it! now i want the straight 6 with an auto! i'm sure i'm going to have questions for you jeep pro's!
