Nubby55 Yes it's a real good one, it has a lot of low end torque, great engine for a jeep.

I'm kinda new to the whole jeep thing and am not real sure about the carb I'm sure if it is the carter bbs but I do know it's like a "double barrel" carb not sure if that means anything tho!

daffyheavyd This engine is a throwback to AMC. It is bulletproof- mine is at 230,000 and still going strong.

BDK I have a 90 and love it, check for rust in the normal spots and ditch the carter BBS for a MC2150 and your golden
