brendend so after going over the whole coax and redoing the ground i did a little of reading. firestik makes theyre antennas extra long so im pretty sure that is the issue and i need to trim it. so dose anyone local have one id like to have it sorted out before i leave to go up to left hand. and im to cheap to buy one right now lol

Colo-TJ I am bringing mine tomorrow, but you need to be carefull trying to transmit without having it set right. You can overload the transisters and fry it.. so if you can wait I'll help you out in the morning.

Justin04Lj It could be that no one is using a cb within your antenna range. Try going up gold camp you might pick someone up. I have mine on ch 19 right now
