Well ~~~ The Photo I provided is of my 2000 4.0 Automatic, and it for sure is plugged. But I NEVER SAY SOMEONE is Wrong.
After all, Hey~~ What Do I Know?.

|burton160w||Yep, that's the one that should be capped. I believe and correct me if I'm wrong but that port is for automatic transmissions. On mine, I couldn't find why I was having pulsing RPM spikes and throwing an RPM error code until I finally saw that a few months later.|

I believe he means this one, one of three in a row.
That would be Capped

Intake vacuum port?
Ive got a 2000 4.0 On the side of the Intake manifold there are 3 vacuum ports, Today while working on the jeep i noticed there was nothing on the first port (closest th the front of jeep) and it was just sucking air, i looked for a hose that may of come unplugged but found nothing. Does anyone have any idea what goes on there? I bought a rubber cap and capped it off for now.... thx....
