Bushmaster Welsh caz. Check out some of the advertisers in jeep action magazine. Also concider getting in touch with MJOC (Melbourne jeep owners club) and ask them. Or you could drop into your local ARB and see who they recomend or if they can do it.

Welsh_caz Hey guys, wondering if anyone can help me... I have my first jeep, a '99 TJ and the first gear keeps 'popping' out, only from starting cold normally, and can sometimes be a pain to get into reverse too... Any ideas? Very concerned re gearbox! I would love to know of any recommendations of jeep mechanics you guys use, I live in Elwood so central and everywhere's easy

Bushmaster So when did you wanna take this trip?
02-24-2012 08:49 AM
LeiSh Yerr I was up there a few weeks back was dirt tracks... Umm it's got clay trails a bit of rock, aslong as one if us has a winch I guess itd be ok! Plus snatch strap - I got stuck in a bog hole lol was fun I love ripping up mud!!

Anyways anyone else interested in cobaw soon!??
02-24-2012 05:41 AM
Bushmaster Yea i'm up for a trip out there, i asked the bloke at arb about cobaw a while back and he said that if your not carefull you can end up just driving around on dirt roads all day but i guess if we don't find anything good we can always hit up some tracks at mt macendon or bullengarook as a backup plan.

Do you know what sort of tracks are up there?
Mud, rock, clay hills or dense scrub?
And when did you wanna head out?
02-23-2012 08:21 AM
LeiSh hey hey

anyone keen for a cobaw state forrest trip soon?
02-23-2012 06:54 AM
Bushmaster Nice one. Have you checked out the lerdyderg nat park and wombat state forest yet? There are some great tracks in there and not too far away either out at blackwood. But i'd recomend some mud tyres and recovery gear.
