Jeff
I have been to Calico on the bike before and that sounds like fun, I will have to check the calendar to see what we have or don't have planned.

Man I will be out of town this weekend and can't change the plans, that sucks! Oh I don't doubt my YJ will be expensive and we kind of have planned for it, but as you know "the best laid plans of mice and man often go awry".

See you on the trails some time.

Yeah, it is supposed to be doing that here too. HA! We will embrace the rain as we are in jeeps, all weather off road vehicle. It will also make Coyote canyon much more enjoyable as there will be plenty of waterfalls and the ever lasting stream down the middle of the road.

Gonna be calling the RC ranger station today to get a PIREP on Mengel Pass.

Come on out, spend the day...

Good afternoon everyone, how are you all doing? I am doing fine as I picked up my first Jeep this past Saturday! Woo Hoo.

I have also found the local Gear Grinders 4-wheel drive club and plan on attending the next meeting. Have to do the meet and greet you know.

I come from a dual sport motorcycle background and have finally decided to switch to 4 wheels which made my wife VERY happy. Hell she might even go with me for some simple rides.

Thanks for listening and hope to hear from some locals.
