Master4th Yeah thats a big issue for me as well. I would love to put in 2 nice 10s but there will be no space left.

DirtyRob You need to get a Quadratec catalogue. They are free
Jeep Stereo & Audio, Jeep Speakers and Jeep GPS & Electronics - Quadratec

I only have 2-6x9's and 2-5 1/4's to a 300 watt amp. More room for tools and trail/recovery gear

Check out Q-tecs stuff. I have had some good dealing with them, and they get me stuff fast (I am on the South Eastcoast and they are in PA)
They have more than what is on the link I posted above

2xs I have my amp under the back seat, adn behind the seat sit 2 12s.

Its awesome in the summer with the top off, I remove the back seat and set the subs facing up and twards the front, loud as hell and everyone looks (Jealous im in a Jeep/ or jealous I can blast Five Finger Death Punch so loud with no distortion? Who cares!).

Master4th Double D Fab

I been working on a rough sketch, to place a double din radio above the stock location. Then move 4 gauges to the left of that area in a 2 by 2 configuration. Once I get my measurements done I will post a pic.

Amp under the rear seat is a good spot.

Im currently running 1 12" champion Pioneer, 4 Rockford Fosgate 6x8s, HiFonics Zues 5 channel, Pioneer 4400dvd in my Expedition.

Putting together a new system for Jeep around T400 & T1000 Rockford Amps, and the Pioneer Champion 10". Going to run it using this if I ever get my custom dash design finished and ordered.

As for front and rear I have not decided. If I wait for my dash ill do 5x7s front & rear.

Capt Jarrod I've got a single rockford punch 12" mounted behind the back seat off to one side and my 500 amp under the back seat. This is a great set up without taking up a huge amount of space while still hitting good with top off at 60mph. This actually hits harder than my old Memphis 12s with 1100w amp.

1BadAssJeep They make center consoles that you can put a 12in sub in.

DasfieldmarshelsYJ I got a rear seat out so I got plenty of room . But reason being is tht I gotta take a lot of tools with me to school so I needs keep all the sound system outta the way or placed were I can acess my tool boxs from the rear hatch

pstxtreme ported boxes call for a lot of air space.
03-11-2012 11:31 PM
1BadAssJeep As far as boxes go, it's all about what your sub calls for dimension wise. If I could, I would get two 10s in a ported box behind the back seat.
03-11-2012 11:30 PM
pstxtreme Your gonna take up some space with 2 subs. I mounted my amps under the back seat and bulit this bad ass sub box.

1BadAssJeep JL Audio is one of the best brands along with Memphis and MTX. I keep my amp shoved under my back seat. I have a 12 behind the back seat and a 10 on the back seat.
