That's what I was thinking but 2 of the 3 local shops around me closed up and the 3rd, well the owner is a D bag. Broke my buddies seat then when my buddy got upset the dude threatened to throw his seat over the bank in his back yard. Dude didn't pay to fix it either...

blkrubi88 Welcome! Have it repaired at an auto upholstery shop, that's what I did a couple years ago on my 03' and it's the original top, only cost me $75 for new zipper and them to put it in. Good luck.

Keywestfirefly Just brought a 08 rubi. Same problem rear window zipper is shot. I can't even unzip it to get the window off. But I did look closely at the zipper and an clearly see some of the teeth on the window side are missing. All of the teeth on the top seem fine so I think I can get away with just buying the rear window if I can find one for a decent price

replacing tops/windows

I have a 2008 Sahara and the zipper/threading on my rear window is already shot... Should I replace just the window or the whole top? I know the zipper on the window is no longer any good, but can't really tell about the rear zipper for the top... I don't want to replace the window and find it doesn't work because the zipper for the top is damaged too... If I have to replace both, can anyone recommend a good place to get one that isn't too expensive? Every website I go to has prices higher than I would like to spend...
