MikD They sure did, I'm in the same basic area.

91yj4banger Oh ok, I'm in Hopewell. I used to take my quads and lifted dodge over to Maybrook. But they really cut down on that.

MikD I'm about 10 minutes west of the Newburgh Beacon bridge.

eh384 I just replaced my ball joints, track bars, and added a drop Pitman arm, dual steering stabilizers and some other crap. Now I can properly tackle what 37s should be able to...I found out the hard way at Rausch that I was ill prepared What needs to be changed/added in the jump from 37s to 40s?
91yj4banger Lol that is a most decieving looking hole. Where abouts im the HV are you located?
91yj4banger I know what you mean. My buddy has a 12 with 36s and just doesnt look right. For now im just looking at a RC 4.5 x series for more flex and more Hp under the hood.

MikD Cutting a new trail and this spot has turned out to be far tougher than it looks, that old Yota usually emabrasses our jeeps in the mud (it has high performance rust lightening that allows it to float over most mud).

MikD The problem is the JK's are so freakin big they make the damn tires look small!
91yj4banger Wow thanks for me making me feel even more insecure about my 32s guys lol
Yesterday 06:25 PM
MikD Haha yup exactly! We're gonna be here Friday night if you need some dirt.

That's mine on the right, and those are 37s...When I saw this picture, I just knew that the only way to set the world straight was to go to 40s. Then my wife smacked me
Yesterday 03:07 PM
MikD Haha better grab your wallet!
Hear you on the looking small thing, my 37's look stock to me (wife says it's a guy thing...).
00tj2 Mike, after 2 days they started to look small:-( I think I'm already planning for 37's, maybe even 40's. Can you say hello 1-tons!!
MikD The 35's should make a big difference on the trail, plenty of ground clearance now!

00tj2 Hey guys. So I haven't been around this thread or to mikes in a while but I'm still working out some things on my jeep. Hopefully it should be ready for the dirt/rocks by mid nob but you know how planning goes. Wanted to offer a set of 4 super swamper LTB bias ply in 31x11.5x15 on stock steel tj wheels to someone here. They are great tires with 75-80 tread left and they grip like crazy! I moved up to 35's and no longer need them. These tires are just over 200 bucks each without being mounted so I'm thinking 500 is reasonable?? If anyone wants to take a look let me know, thanks.

Rule18 Hello HV Jeepers, new to this forum but not to the life. Hey MikD, how's it going over there? Hoping to get over there one of these weekends.

MikD He's correct you have gotten something wet. May dry out on its own but be better to take some time to find out where the water is. Something has probably dried out and cracked allowing water to cause a short. Take your time with a nice bright light and youll find it.

My family has always owned jeeps and my dad is a mechanic, so I've learned everything about working on car from him. Enough of me talking here's my wrangler.
Welcome back. Your Jeep looks to be in great condition. Hope you saved some extra money for mods.
Thanks! I was surprised in how good of shape it was in when I went to go see it. I'm planning on buying a Clayton 4" long arm kit, with some 33's, and a bunch of other things I'm sure.
