Help me fix my 4WD indicator light

Hi, i know the 4WD indicator light is not essential so please dont hound me for wanting it. It is more of an electrical puzzle that I would like solved. I have read all about this problem on some other threads but none have addressed what I am about to ask. I have performed the dash cluster startup test by turning the key on while holding the trip reset to determine that indeed the 4WD bulb is functioning. I also have removed the wire connector at the transfer case switch and jumped the wires but still havent gotten the light to illuminate. This makes me believe that there must be a problem in between the bulb and the switch somewhere with the wiring. I need hints on where to go from here...or if someone could provide me with a 2004 Wrangler Sport wiring diagram i could attempt to solve this.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
