InfernoGirl IMO save the coin and buy what you want... We've had our latest wrangler for one month and have 2k in wheels and tires on order as I type..... It's a sickness

Beastmaster Welcome to the forum.

I'm assuming you are talking about 16" vs 17" wheels on a new Wrangler? The replacement costs on 17" tires are much more than on 16". Then again if you plan on upgrading both tires and wheels in the future the point is moot.
Others can chime in but in my opinion it won't make much difference on the Jeep with stock tires but you'd be better off in the long term with the 16's.
Hope that answered your question.

Are the stock 17" worth the price over the stock 16"s?

Is it worth the extra dollars for the 24_S package?

It's about $1400 extra over just adding air, and I know I can get a full set of good rims and tires for a similiar price (that are NOT stock and perform and look better). I just don't think I will do that for a little bit. Not going to do any extreme wheeling till the newness wears off either, maybe just play in the snow, sand and maybe light mud.

New to the forums but been viewing for awhile.
