Anyone use this stuff on the inside of their hardtop?
I've been thinking of painting mine but can't decide if I should use black spray paint, black plasti-dip or ez liner.

|mattdenney07||I can't wait to do mine... I'm gonna spend the whole day in the garage tomorrow doing little cheap mods like this finally. Putting in some gutter guard grill liners, bed-lining the grill, headlight bezels, and keyholes, tinting the inside of my turn signals, filling back of speakers with polyfil, and mounting a mag-lite on the side of my front seat!|

I wondered what this would look like on a Natural Green Jeep.
The photos look great. It's extremely even looking.
Is there any way you can take a shot that's pulled back a little to show more of the green Jeep with the black front end?
That request is partially to get a better idea and partially because I want more photos of green Jeeps on here.

|Sueby||Thought so. The green has really grown on me, can't wait for summer sun to really enjoy it. I was wondering if you'd even be able to notice the black - everyone thinks my Jeep is black anyway but it looks like you can.|

You can buy these types of products at a lot of places. It is a rubberized spray on bed liner.
Yes Sueby my jeep is Natural Green Pearl....I love the color.
I have attached another picture in the sunlight today and a picture of the product I used.

|bfoster426||Has anyone ever tried spraying different liners on their fenders flares yet? I'm really dreading the inevitable fading|

|Sueby||I think it looks pretty cool. Is your jeep natural green? A little hard for me to tell on my phone.|

|JK-Uknowit||Looks good. I wonder if it wil fade like the fender flares? I'm gonna protect my flares and bumpers as long as I can but I think one day they will either be replaced (hopefully) or Line-Xd.|

|Gate53||Wife wants her Jeep Yellow I'm thinking about doing the whole thing in Yellow bedliner. With black accents like the mirrors and grill.|

|bfoster426||That's a great idea! Looks awesome!|

|NFRs2000NYC||Looks good but I don't see why you went with such a permanent solution. Different strokes I guess.|
|03-16-2012 03:02 PM|
|tabber02||well it looks pretty freakin good!|
|03-16-2012 02:59 PM|
|Ddub1973||I cleaned it very well. Some guys say it will peal off in time if you don't sand the surface but I am not worried about that. If if peals I will take it all off then sand it down. I Sprayed my break light guards with the same stuff and have had no issues. Like I said it was only $20 so if I have to do it again I will not be out much.|
|03-16-2012 02:53 PM|
|4fit||Looks good. I plasti-dipped mine. Will probably get it Line-Xed one of these days.|
|03-16-2012 02:49 PM|
|Texas JK||It looks great! I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Can I ask how you prepped the grill?|

Truck Bed Liner sprayed on my grill!!
I took some time last night and sprayed my grill with bed liner. I have seen it done on a few on different sites and it looked good. Well I have to say that it looked 10 times better then I thought it would. Not only is it going to protect the grill from scratches and rock chips, but it looks bad ass.
I have seen a few where guys have used a roller to do it but in my opinion it looks way to rough and textured that way. I used EZ Liner Truck Bed Coating from Canadian Tire and it worked awesome. Sprays on light so I did about 8 coats for better strength. It goes on just like paint. I used two cans and it only cost me $20.
I am going to tackle the hard top pretty soon.
