|Yella||That's just what they do. First of all they know when you walk in the door that you're vulnerable. They latch onto whatever hint they can get of what you want then bam! Next thing you know you're driving around in the coolest jeep ever and a damn grin on your face that just can't be wiped off and then you come onto this forum and tell all about it to us, your support group. Then we start drilling for details cause we need that fix too and then one day we walk into the 4x4 shop where it starts all over again. Ain't it great... I love it.|

|rics1997||Yea, I have too give them a little hard time. They (RPM Offroad) got a lot of my money lol. Really though it is the best shop around. They also have a race team in the offroad circuit. They do great work. They gave me one of their race team shirts after they did my re-gear, so while I was in there I was kidding around and said, can I get a new racing shirt if you do the shocks. The owner said just go over to the rack and pick you one out.|

|phottomatt||My shop knows me well, I take all my vehicles there and I trust them. There are only 2 guys working there tho so I guess it doesn't really count. Been going there for 6 years now, the best thing is they know my vehicles also, which means they can service them much better.|

Here's my theory: every so often, all Jeeps need something new to keep em happy.
Or maybe that's how I justify spending more $$ on mine.

Let us know how you like those Fox shocks. I just got the teraflex fox with remotes, but cant put them on for awhile. I'm so curious if i made the right choice.

Not at all...that is just good customer service. I walked into the dealership (not one where I purchased) to get a clip that holds on the flares. I hadn't been in the parts department for a year (went to get their advice before lifting) and he remembered my name. I haven't bought anything from them and have only been in for service twice in the last two years. If you have spent money with them and they don't remember you name then that is bad IMO.

The terrible local offroad shop
LOL. I was out today and was driving by my local shop that does most of my work and decided to stop in. Is it bad when they know you by name when you walk in? Well after chatting about getting my new tires this spring they asked if I needed anything? With recommendations of course. I walked out with an appointment for a 2" Teraflex leveling kit w/Quick Disconnects ($130.00 through Quadratec) and FOX shocks ($400) to go on April the 4th., Labor ($200)
Have the 19/60 coil spring upgrade already so the 2" leveling kit should go nice with that set up and can't believe I going to pay that much for shocks but after seeing the FOX shocks side by side to the Blisteins, I was talked into them. Oh well, Just Empty Every Pocket lol
