David M I thought this one might go with our Sahara Tan color pretty well, but my wife didn't see the humor in it for some reason.

Yeah!...I know...that's what I get for thinkin'.

It's not probably cause in any state. That's like pulling someone over for having a bud light sticker on their vehicle.

wickedsprint I mean by that logic just having hands would be PC since some beers have twist tops.

My 3 gallon corny key with portable CO2.

3 gallons of beer on tap is equal to 33 twelve ounce cans/bottles....except there is usually a nice strong brew in them from a local brewery.

And the best part is that as long as it stays cold (and it will stay cold for days in that MaxCool cooler), whatever is left in the 3 gallon corny can be inserted back into my main kegs/kegerator in the garage since it never touches outside air. (direct transfer between kegs).
Jealous! I recently started homebrewing, I'm hoping to keg in a few years.

Peter08 Done yesterday after a bunch of less-satisfying more-sweat-soaking work.

Way more enjoyable.

cheap4tw Wow, this thread would have been perfect for a pic of the Jeep I saw!

I was on the highway with no camera near by, but it was a smurf blue JKU with factory blue fenders and a black hard top. Wasn't anything special until it passed me and I saw the epic pepsi bottle cap lid tire cover.

It completed the theme.

strider_mt2k Thank you!
Grape soda was the only thing handy with a bottle cap. :o

Bumper install should take less than a minute if you buy a new Starr model, as they include a couple of wood screws with them.
Mine were nicely black enamel finished as well.

DonC72 Awesome less the grape soda. Should have been a Shock Top IPA. Can't wait to finally get an hour of free time to get mine on. I'll be doing the bumper install, but your post might inspire me.

Bottle oener install completed!

Did my install today: It went about how I expected it.
I used the hardware called out in my earlier post minus the fender washers. (They were too wide for the inside wall space and didn't need 'em. The sheet metal is fine and doesn't flex.)
Removed the drivers side tail light for access to the interior space.
Applied black primer to the heads of the bolts.
Established my mounting location, confirmed it utilizing a combination square and hit the drill spots with an auto punch.
Tiny holes for starters.
7/32 holes for the hardware.

After drilling and de-burrng the holes, I then ran a primer-soaked Q-tip through the drilled holes to primer up the edges of the bare sheet metal.

The bolts were held in place and the nylock nuts were tightened from behind to minimize wear on the newly primed bolt heads.
(I'll be hitting the bolt heads with some gloss black to touch them up very soon, even though it looks decent now.)
The test bottle of grape Crush was very satisfying.

I'm waiting on a fuel door kit and some gloss black paint to hit the screw heads with when the install is done.
The DS tail light has to come out for both installs and I'm painting the screws on both, so I'll just kill two birds with one stone when the time comes.

I will post pics.

My plan is to mount it next to the rear gate on the drivers side centered up between the gate and the tail light.
Removing the DS tail light should give me access to that area for cleaning up/painting where I'll be drilling and tightening everything up.
I can't wait to see that!

Poor guy will shoot himself in the knees if he finds out what you did with his precious vintage-still-in-the-original-box opener!
