|Imped||Put simply, bump stops are there to prevent interference, whatever that may be. Your best bet is to pull the springs and with the frame supported by jack stands and the tires/shocks bolted up, cycle the axle up until you get your first set of interference--whether that's the tires/fenders, shocks bottoming out, track bar/diff cover, gas tank/diff cover, etc. You want the bump stops to prevent that initial interference scenario from happening. Once you get it to that point, back off a hair to leave a 1/2" buffer and measure. That's where you need to be at full bump. Set the amount of extension to give you whatever that number is.|

So from what you guys said, i need to get the 2 inch bumpstop extensions and trim appropriately. But I also need bumpstop cups from a ZJ front?
Thanks again for the help, just dont want to damage my new shocks!

|GoldenSahara00||I agree with unlimited. If you get 2 inches and you need to cut a half inch off and add you can get just that.|

|UnlimitedLJ04||Extension estimate: 1.5" front, 2.5" rear. you'll still need to verify full bump when replacing the springs & removing the spacers...but that should put you in the ballpark|

you have no bumpstop cups...which you'll need to buy from the local junkyard or the dealer. ZJ fronts will fit front and rear.
there was a thread on here where a guy running the same improper setup had a spring fall out while driving down the road....
when you replace those spacers, the bumpstop extension required will be determined by the compressed shock length....so figure out the compressed shock length and we can go from there.

|GoldenSahara00||If your shocks are your limiting point, which they are alot of the time, you can compare the stock colapsed length of your shocks to the colapsed length of your aftermarket shocks. Now the extra length from the aftermarket shocks needs to be made up by adding bumpstops so your shocks aren't the first thing to bottom out. I would guess to start around 2 inches and then check full bump on each side by removing springs shocks and sway bar links and cycle the suspension to check for clearance issues.|

What exactly am I missing? Bumpstop's..
Hey guys! I ordered my 3 inch BDS springs,Fox shocks,JKS front and rear trackbar's,Browndog MML and JKS 1.25 BL. I NEED to order my bumpstops, but can someone please help me figure out exactly what amount of bumpstop I will need?
I hate to feel helpless, but i dont understand the whole bumpstop measurement and what I need exactly. I know I am missing more than just the bumpstop's. Thank you!!
P.S-The first 2 pictures are the front and the last three are the rear!
