MrBash I don't think it will cause a problem. Ideally you want 2/3 of your anntenna over your vehicles roof line. The higher the antenna the better reception you'll have. I would recommend a rear tail light mount with a 4' Antenna instead of the bumper. just my 0.02.

skeeter If you get interference then you have a problem with your fuel pump.

Mounting CB antenna to my rear bumper on my TJ

On 03 TJs is it ok to mount the bracket and cb antenna to the rear bumper? I heard its a bad idea because you get interfernce from the fuel pump, but i saw multiple people with the antenna mounted to there TJ bumpers. Was the interference thing with YJ or CJ not TJ?
