mrbat23 I removed all my hinges and painted them, and if it was not for using heat ( heat gun or a quick torch) I would of never got them out , and i tried impact driver as well. Another poster also warned me about impact driver near the windshield, he broke his. Just something to think about. good luck.

Side Mirror Install

Hey everyone, new to here, but did my intros a couple days ago.

New to me '99 Wrangler TJ. Stripped the top off today, removed the doors, and ordered the Rugged Ridge quick release side mirrors after reading postive things about them on here.

Should have the mirrors by Wednesday or Thursday. I'm looking to see where I think they will mount and there's T40 Torx bolts there. I'm guessing these need to be removed? What kind of Sumo/Gorilla/Schwarzenegger put them on? I've tried every trick to break them loose but just can't budge them.

If anyone has suggestions, or pics or details on how to accomplish this, I would love to know!

Oh and thanks in advance, and lovin' this warm weather!
