Hello all, Have i got a story for you!
My last jeep was a 1987 soft top with a 4.0 motor and trans out of a 98 cherokee. 33" BFG's and a small lift. I have owned this jeep for about 8 years jointly with a friend.
Three weeks ago i got a phone call from someone from boston ma. He states that he thinks i have his brothers jeep. He explains that his brother recieved a scholarship from arizona U for lacross and past away 10 years ago. He and his brother were season ticket holders to the boston red soxs and would drive this jeep to all the games. He then explains that he MUST have this jeep back, he tells me to name my price and he HAS to have it!
I drove home to check the VIN on the jeep and sure enough its the jeep. I call the guy and confirm the VIN. He was so excited he tells me he will fly here tonight! I told him to not worry about it, and that the jeep is his and we could just ship it across the country.
The jeep shipped last friday and it already arrived in boston. He then told his friends and family about the jeep and everyone rushed to his house to see and ride in his brothers old jeep. Everyone is excited to see it and relive alittle of the past with the late brother.
I feel lucky to be apart of something so cool, and im glad i could help the guy reunite with his brothers old jeep
problem for me is that now i need to buy another jeep
im looking at the 4 door wranglers
