So it isn't the perfect finish but its together. I have more small sections to do so I will look at the HF tool for sure! Thanks for that idea.

|Iceman||May I make a suggestion that will save your hands and pliers alot of pain and heartache. Harbor freight has a sowing awl for ~$10 comes with the heavy duty thread.|

|Michael Marlin||Needle nose vice grips work real good for holding a needle and pushing it through the fabric. This is assuming that you are using a needle with the eye at the point.|

|jetskier111||The velcro section is sewn to the zipper section. Now working on attaching the zip/velcro section back to the top. Thank God for pliers and thick needles...|

Soft top repair time...
Well I don't know about you soft top riders, but with the warm temps I want my new/used top working right. I had some rather serious un-doings going on...in fact, all the threads tore on the drivers side! I am saving the money and workin the needle and thread. I will try to post a few pictures, if not just for me.
New top= ~$500
Needle, thread= $5.00
Time doing it=? Who cares, I'm learning and saving cash.
