jetskier111 So it isn't the perfect finish but its together. I have more small sections to do so I will look at the HF tool for sure! Thanks for that idea.

Iceman May I make a suggestion that will save your hands and pliers alot of pain and heartache. Harbor freight has a sowing awl for ~$10 comes with the heavy duty thread.

Michael Marlin Needle nose vice grips work real good for holding a needle and pushing it through the fabric. This is assuming that you are using a needle with the eye at the point.

jetskier111 The velcro section is sewn to the zipper section. Now working on attaching the zip/velcro section back to the top. Thank God for pliers and thick needles...

Soft top repair time...

Well I don't know about you soft top riders, but with the warm temps I want my new/used top working right. I had some rather serious un-doings going on...in fact, all the threads tore on the drivers side! I am saving the money and workin the needle and thread. I will try to post a few pictures, if not just for me.

New top= ~$500

Needle, thread= $5.00

Time doing it=? Who cares, I'm learning and saving cash.
