Cool.

Looks good either way. I got used rubi rails for $125. I like the way it looks + a little extra protection.

They do work great as a step. My wife wanted a step and I wanted rails for wheeling. They serve great as both. Even my 3 year old is able to get in using the step.

Here's a pic with Ace and Rubi rails. You can see that it sticks out nicely.

Tumbleweed I can't wait to get my rear bumper. Already have the front. Just waiting for them to get finished. Lovin' the front.

Also like that they are local to me. Pick em up at the factory.

The ACE rails do stick out a bit and can be used as a step. They are usually paired up with the OE rubicon rock rails.

no. I mean you could, but you would hate yourself for it. its only 4 bolts, but its 150 lbs, and youd have to remove the spindle or find a creative way to secure it, and so the time would be a huge hassle.

EdCrbnSoul Your right went back and looked only thing I can figure its using 1/4" steel instead of the 3/16" .
03-21-2012 09:17 AM
stevebanzai I did check that out, and this bumper is definitely on the higher end, weight wise.

136 before the winch..and skidplate.

Looking at the Mega Front Bumper Thread most full width bumpers run between 110-130 lbs

rs87277 All you need to do is open the gate with your door handle button. Its all connected with stainless steel linkage because the gate and the tire rack have two different pivot points. It is very smooth and sturdy.
03-20-2012 01:18 PM
Matador Its linked with the rear gate, so anytime you swing open the rear gate the tire carrier moves along with it.

Casotakar1229 quick question, how does the ACE rear bumper tire carrier lock and unlock? on the website I don't see the lever to open/close it...just curious?
