|jcfowler79||With the weather hopefully warming up here in the Chicago area I pulled the hard top and installed the soft top this morning. 40 degrees while I did it but 70's on the way!|

Neat stuff, how difficult is the install?

This is a friend from our Jeep Club that sells these. He also helped with the install. They have been working great. Thanks

Well, still waiting for my lift and stuff to be shipped, nearly 4 weeks now! 3 weeks and waiting for the wheels/tires...
Painted the muffler with high temp BBQ paint, installed Rugged Ridge grill mesh, VDP front bumper ends (until budget resets for a new bumper, lol), front Grabars. Received the Husky molded mud guards, but will wait till I'm installing the lift, tires off before installing, don't want them to be in the way... Got a Superchip flashPac.
Got "on the way" from eBay:
- door sill Mopar guards
- Mopar gas cap cover
- Rugged Ridge rear floor mats
- plug buttons to replace the hood pucks
- AEV 2.5 XT Dual Sport
- AEV Geometry steering correction kit
- AEV rear tire carrier
- AEV 3rd brake light kit
- AEV jack stand base
- grade 8 bolt upgrade
- Synergy Steering Stabilizer Relocation Kit
From Sorat Wheels, 5 of each:
- DuraTracs 315/70R17
- Fuel Wheels Anza D557 17x8.5 +6ET (5" backspacing)
- TPMS units
Budget blown for the year!

Took her to Moab so she could visit with the Jeep Concept vehicles. She was polite and did not mention any of their shortcomings, so I rewarded her with a PullPal.

Got my exhaust on my 08 last week. I wanted to drive in a while to see if I liked it before posting, and I'm pleased. Its a nice quiet low rumble not a ricer sound. It does sound like a V6, although it should, it is one. There is no way to get a v8 sounds unless you put one under the hood, but it comes close.
I bought a thrush turbo from Advanced Auto 35 bucks, two 90's, clamps, brackets and a resonated chrome tip. Leaving the muffler open with no tail pipe was a little loud, but an option if I want it louder. With the tailpipe and resonated tip it sounds perfect to me.
I read a lot about this before I made up my mind on the type of muffler and attempting it. It took about an hour and a half. Much easier for me than some have had with problems getting the old one off.
Total cost less than 60$. No real noticeable performance difference, the engine doesn't shake as much when starting it, idle is smoother, sounds better, little bit kinda like after you just wash your Jeep and take it for a ride, it just feels better.
I tried making a sound/video of it with my phone, it didn't come out too well.
The superchips flashpaq I ordered is here, its next.

|spoiledkari||Installed a Mopar fuel door and installed a homelink garage door opener from a Chrysler Crossfire. Tomorrow I'll tackle the backup camera and hoist install.|
|Yesterday 07:55 PM|
My 2' Firestick II (since the Jeep can't fit in the garage with the 4' installed) came in today, too. So it was installed at the same time. I'm thinking I need to get an antenna spring so the end of the antenna is above the top. Next is figuring out if my CB is still good or if it fried because of the cable issues.
I'm going to replace the CB anyway with a Uniden Bearcat 880, but not before a road trip next weekend.
