|willysdave||I've made some changes to the old wagon since I posted up some pics. a year ago. Installed a set of one ton axles,(d60 frnt, 14 bolt rr.). Also moved the front axle forward 5" and installed 38 x 17 x 14.5" MTRKs on new steelies, discs on all fours, hydro brakes and PSC hydro assist steering. Also installed an auto tranny, (700r4), Dana 300 w/ twin sticks,also installed a front 4 link with King coilovers,high cross over steering with Artec high steer arms. Also installed parking brakes on both rear calipers. Cut off the front frame horns and installed a new boxed, raised section to fit the Warn m15000 winch. Not shown in the pick is the synthetic winch line and Hawse fairlead. I still need lockers, 4 to 1 in the T.C., skids and rocker protection. That will happen soon. I'm happy with what I have done, especially the travel I have in the front end.|

Don't have her anymore, but here's the 1965 Mustang I got my start working on cars with. She was beautiful. Learned all the basics working alongside my dad at a young age. Other girls played with dolls, I rebuilt carburetors.
Unfortunately, they sold her a few years back and I wasn't in a good financial place to buy her off them at the time. Some day I'll have another one (maybe when the Jeep's paid off and fully upgraded the way I want it). Both my neighbors have '69 Stangs and chatting with them gets me jonesing for one again some day down the line.
We had a '64 Falcon too, which we were building into a drag racer to hit the local redneck dragway in Bithlo. Dad lost interest, though, and sold her piecemeal before she was done.
I had a '93 Mustang for a while, too. My first car of my own. Learned a lot more about working on cars with it... but only because it was always broke down, lol.
ALSO... I love all the other Mustangs on this thread! Nice to know that Jeep people and Mustang people have so much overlap!

Current daily driver. 7 gallon tank and I go 3 1/2 weeks on it. A/C, airbags, 6 speed sequential gearbox, injected, turbocharged, intercooled .7 liters. It's a kick to drive and every other car is a race whether they know it or not. Always can find a parking spot.

I know i posted my R6 a while back (has since been sold as of june of last year) but i forgot to post my other vehicle...which has also been sold as of december of 2012, but oh well! Gone but not forgotten lol

2013 HD iron 883... Ironically the colors match. Bought it to split lanes during rush hour and more importantly for better gas mileage ($9.25 for a full tank of premium)

|willysdave||1961 Willys wagon . 383 stroker rated @ 550 h/p sm 465, np 205 , d44 rront , 12 bolt rear . 38.5 x 15 x 15 super swampers , Autometer guages , new panels inside fully insulated . New buckets , power steering and brakes . It's in the shop right now getting a d 60 front diff. , 14 b . f.f. rear , lockers , PSC hydro assist steering , front 4 link with King coilovers . Also getting deaver leaves in the rear and I don't know what kind of shocks will be in the rear yet . I will be adding a Warn winch and raising the front bumper and eventually get an interior roll cage and reupolster the rear seat to match the fronts and get a crappy paint job so I don't have to cry when I scratch the crap out of it .Yes I have and will wheel the crap out of it because I don't believe in street queens and there's 4 wheeling all around me !|
