|ThingsAbove||Thank you all for the welcome messages. I've enjoyed reading some of the forum posts and especially the Raleigh off-road posts. It looks like you guys have a blast at the Page Rd. mud-park. I'm not sure if my wife is ready for me to take the jeep into door-sill deep mud in it's first week but maybe I can come out and help pull some folks out from higher ground.|

Hello from NC
We purchased our first Jeep this week. A Cosmos Blue Wrangler Unlimited. Pretty basic Sport version with the Freedom hard top, limited slip diff and airbags. I think those were the only options.
My first priority is getting some side steps/rail installed to help the kids get in and out easier. There seem to be tons of options there but I'd like to find something under $250 that isn't junk.
Secondly, my wife has become addicted to her backup camera in her van. This Jeep doesn't have the radio with the screen so the MyGig type camera won't work. Does anyone have a suggestion on a backup camera/screen.
This jeep won't spend a lot of time off-road but we do have the Uwharrie nearby so I'll probably go there and get stuck and get the paint scratched up some so that it looks like a proper Jeep.
This seems to be a great forum. I am a former Dodge Challenger owner and the ChallengerTalk forum had great people and great advice. I look forward to participating here.
