flatline better to measure and buy the correct size shock. you can find charts for shock lengths on sky jacker pdf. or look up WFO concepts and call them, they have the charts.

Question about shocks

I recently purchased some rough country shocks. My YJ has as soa on stock springs with 32" tires. I am replacing the leaf springs with some omix-ada leaf springs through rugged ridge. They are supposed to be OE but the leaves seem a little thicker than the old, same amount of leaves though

My question is, the shocks I bought are for lifts between 2" and 4". Did i buy the correct ones. I know that stock jeeps are 18" to rocker, mine is 23.5". This is why I went with the 2" to 4" shocks. I know I should have asked this question before I purchased, but I felt like I was right. Now I'm second guessing myself. Can anyone help me
