Neil F. There is no code for an exhaust leak. What one do you have?

Dang. Day late, and a dollar short.

Man, you have some insight!!! Haha.

I am throwing an engine code for an exhaust leak. I need to get the Jeep inspected but can't because of the code (had it cleared, but need to put some miles on it to reset the computer). If it really an issue, the light will come back and I'll have to fix something.

The exhaust tone is not right. It has an abnormal drone to it.

flyfishnevada I got my rebate the other day, just in time for vacation. 75 bucks will buy us a nice dinner. Other than having to hack saw the old pipe apart out get it out, it wasn't bad. I had the kids do all the hard work.

Mctim35 Finally got mine installed yesterday. Dropped the belly pan and sprayed the pan and frame with undercoating to stop the cancer. I also changed the transmission mount while I was under there. Man, that thing was rotten! Unfortunately my muffler didn't come with the nuts so I had to make a quick Lowe's run. They're metric 10 x 1.5 btw. After a few trips around town and a 2 hour highway trip, the initial stink is gone and it sounds great! Not much louder at idle or on the highway but throatier running through the gears. Hopefully this one lasts 119K like the OEM.

tenshots1 After spending 10 hours do to having to cut a flange bolt and the skid not being able to drop due to a spinning nutsert, I finally got it installed. Looks great and is tighter than my old exhaust. Sound is not much different.

LouieDelTorchio What did everyone do with their rebate card? I just want the money off of it! Haha

Rockinwrangler Just installed mine.. did it without dropping belly pan.. unbolted cat and slid back for access to muffler flange... Sounds good.. not noticeable from inside but throaty tone from outside... Definitely a little more pep from red light take-off... Very pleasesd.. worth 75 bucks... I did have to cut the stainless tip off.. stuck out way past rockmen gas tank skid...

Mctim35 Ordered mine last night. I was hoping to hold out for the MBRP but it just wasn't in the cards (or the wallet).

flyfishnevada Just got ordered mine. Can't beat a catback for around $70. I just got new Skyjacker shocks from Qtec and got a $35 rebate on those. I've saved a hundred and ten bucks! Sweet!

Rockinwrangler Just placed the order for mine.. Amazon said there was only 1 left.. I hope it is mine... LOL 146.91 with free shipping.. minus 75.00 rebate = 71.91 total... not too bad....

Here are the two links with the info including phone numbers if you need to call and check it out.. You can purchase the catback from amazon right now for 146 minus the 75.00 rebate.. still a pretty good deal..

Rockinwrangler You guys have influenced me in to making this purchase. I have one question that I am not sure has been addressed ... On my stock exhaust pipe I had to cut about 4 inches off the end to make it match up to my aftermarket Rockmen gas tank skid so it would not stick out past it to and to get rid of the turn down tip to solve the problem of getting it filled with dirt, mud , rocks.. etc.. For all of you guys that have installed this muffler do you see any problem with having to cut off any of the tip on this exhaust pipe.. thanks in advance and the quicker the better so I can hit the purchase button from Amazon before they go up on the price and before the end of the rebate ...

TJ502 $146 with Prime so $71 after rebate. Might have to pull the trigger.

LouieDelTorchio Just installed mine. Was tough trying to get off my stock one on my 99 se. After 4 hours we decided to do what we shouldve started with, just cutting it. After we cut it, we still needed to get the U clamp off which wasnt easy. After we got it off, the dynomax was a breeze to put on, maybe 10 minutes. Where the exhaust tip comes out isnt too ideal for me, its a little lower than my hitch, which i hit a lot. Overall im happy, sounds decent for 75 bucks. Im sure it probably sounds better in a I6 rather than the four banger. We also started the jeep up going straight pipe. Sounded badass haha
