Kevinw23 2002TJ, do you have a pic you could post showing your rig with the lights mounted to the frame? Was originally thinking to mount them to the basket, but the frame makes more sense.

For 5 lites make sure to get two KC3300 relays cause they are special in that they have two #87 pins and reliably support one pair of lights per relay. You can trigger the 5th light off any 4 blade 20-40 amp 12VDC relay.

If it was me I'd mount the lites to the Congo Frame, not the basket, and run the wires inside the pipe like I did in the below picture. Makes for a super clean and trouble free install.

I'm certain you can find suitable clamps like used to install conduit and modify them to work cheaply.
You are the man!! Thanks for the tips. I will definitely go that direction.

oIIIIIIo That is a very nice rack, I have one now. I would put the hella 500s lights or go all out with the LEDs from Rigid Industries.

Powertrip As far as lights, look into the KC Apollo series lights. Cheaper than the Daylighters, but still covered by KC's 23 year warantee.

New congo rack installed, need help with lights!

Hey guys,

Bought a Congo Rack from a forum member, and after hitting it with a few coats of bedliner spray, it went on fairly easy. Love the look of it, but now I want to accessorize it!!

I would like to go with 5 lights across the front, and maybe even two at the corners in the rear.

The brackets are $59 per pair from Quadratec, and I have no clue as to what lights to choose as there are too many options.

I don't need a ton of light, as I am not doing much off roading at night, so look and price is more important.

I think I want to go with a smaller round light, so any reasonably priced options????

Also, anyone fabricate their own brackets to hold the lights??

Front bumper, and rock slider side rails are next.

Only had the jeep for a month, and it was bone stock when I got it.

This is so much fun!!!

Kevin
